Craig Heitrich
Craig Heitrich is the President and CEO of White Owl. Heitrich’s career has been marked by leadership roles in various publicly traded and private oilfield service companies. Most recently at Vertex Resource Group, where he served as Vice President of Corporate Development following the acquisition of Cordy Oilfield Services, where he held the position of Vice President of Operations and COO. Mr. Heitrich has founded and divested several successful service companies and has extensive experience executing growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions throughout his career.

BARRY O’BRIEN
Barry O’Brien is the Vice President, Finance and CFO and has greater than 40 years’ experience in the financial and energy industries in Calgary. He has broad experience in the financial industry with Thorne Ridell and in the oil services business with DM Wolcott and Associates, Taylor Gas Liquids Ltd and Canyon Services Group. Barry worked extensively in rapidly growing companies and has experience in negotiating with banks, managing audits, managing internal financial staff, negotiating with PE funds and liaising with boards of directors. Barry was educated in Ireland and holds CA and CPA designations

Randall Juhlin
Randall Juhlin is the Vice President, Engineering and Operations and has over 25 years’ experience in the energy and environmental industries. He has broad experience in energy services, energy production, environmental clean-up, construction, and project management. Prior to joining White Owl, he held executive roles in junior heavy oil and environmental companies. He is a U.S. and Canadian citizen who has worked and lived in both Canada and the USA. Randall holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Engineering and an MBA. He also is a Professional Engineer in Colorado, USA and Alberta, Canada.

OWEN PINNELL
Owen Pinnell is the Founder of White Owl and has served as founder and CEO of various public and private energy companies in Canada and the USA for 30 years. He was the founder of Newalta and Anadime, both public oilfield service companies in Canada from 1982 to 2000 and he provided strategic advisory and merchant banking services through i3 Capital from 2000 to 2010. Owen holds an NZCE from The Auckland Institute of Technology (AUT) and has a Professional Engineer designation in Canada.

ROB AYLING
Rob Ayling is the current CEO and President of Mendell Energy, a subsidiary of PICO Holdings Inc. Prior to joining Mendell Energy he was a corporate finance and venture capital lawyer at Gray Cary, the predecessor to DLA Piper. Rob was a founding partner of a venture capital firm focused on medical devices, biotech and manufacturing. He served as executive chairman at Anterra Services, an oilfield disposal business in California from 2011 to 2013. He holds a BBA and LLB and is licensed to practice law in California.

ROBB THOMPSON
Robb Thompson served as VP Finance, CFO, and Corp. Secretary of Bonterra Energy Inc. from 2011 until his retirement on October 31, 2024. Prior to joining Bonterra, he was CFO of Sonde Resources Corp. from 2008 to 2010, CFO of Berkana Energy Inc. from 2007 to 2008 and CEO of Dynetek Industries Ltd from 2000 to 2006. He holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree and CA accounting designation in Canada.
